Description |
Mi pham explains his policy regarding the assignment of the volume numbers for Rong zom pa's collected works and gives instructions for future editors as to the assignment of the numbers to volumes that will be possibly added in the future. He explains that he assigned the two volumes he edited the numbers a and ā, the first two of the sixteen Sanskrit vowels, and requests future editors to follow this order (go rim). Indeed, the third volume that was added later has been assigned the number i. He adds that he has done this as an auspicious sign to indicate that the collection is yet to be continued ('phro can). |
